Bequests

How to make a bequest to DNDA.

Making a bequest to Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association may be a simple way for you to give, and it can have an extraordinarily beneficial impact upon the entire Delridge Neighborhoods community.  You may consider providing a percentage or residual of your estate, a specific amount of cash, or a piece of property.

It is always a good idea to check with your financial planner or attorney about the disposition of your estate after your death. However, providing for DNDA in your will is easy.  If you plan to make a bequest, the following suggested language added to your will or as a codicil may have lasting impact upon DNDA and the Delridge communities:

I hereby give to Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association, a Washington non-profit corporation with its principal location in Seattle, Washington, the sum of $______________ (or _______% of my estate, or the residual of my estate after payment of the foregoing bequests, or _____________________________ description of specific property.)
