Cooper Artist Housing at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, provides 36 affordable live/work studios for rent to artists of all disciplines on the top two floors and in the converted attic.  The unique combination of artists live/work rental homes, and a vibrant cultural arts center provides a true sense of community between the artists that live here, and the committed staff of a cultural arts center.  Developed by the Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA), Historic Cooper is just minutes from downtown Seattle.  Amenities at Cooper Studios include:

Eligibility:

To qualify to live at Historic Cooper, all households must meet the following income guidelines:

30% (lower rent level) $16,350 $18,700 $21,050

50% (higher rent level) $27,250 $31,150 $35,050

Please note that these income limits by household size are set at 30% and 50% of the median income levels. These 2004 income limits are the current allowable incomes based on number of persons in the household and are subject to change.
